Stuff happens. 45 minutes wasn't bad for an outage though.
I'm geared to live without power if we lose it. I have a back up system and lots of water, food, etc. I can go for months without it. I've lived that way in the past.fs

the internet was originally designed so that military, government and universities could communicate during a major catastrophe.

It doesn't matter, it's like we really have to be on the net, mostly all are we are doing anyway is screwing around.
