yeah....i had a home free of tv for a couple of years until i met my girlfreind, and now i have to bite my tongue from time to time when there are people crowded around the box....but people have right to consume what they want and i have the right to politely excuse myself and go elsewhere in the house for a while, and as long as that is ok for everyone there will be peace in the home.
though, when her parents were visiting the tv was......loud.
they are deaf apparently.
i was actually interested to see that american idol effortlessly jumped to csi, and people sat and watched with the same blank expression while people discussed the rape and mutilation of a young prostitute while they poked and prodded her corpse on an autopsy table.
tragically that is true....it`s also a test for the pronographication of prime time family viewing.
