vincent, i think in all reality that the poster works by playing on the idea of who`s flying what into what else. to frame it in terms of futility suggests that all of the advances of science are for nothing, and that`s untrue. while what gets funded in the name of science sometimes gets my back up, the overall benifit is good. religion though....hmmm. inquisitions, paedophilia, corruption, political interferance, murder, theft, aiding and abetting tyrants. makes nasa seem like a bunch of boyscouts in comparison....even though they are stealing the children`s milk money.
Best billboard ever!

ReplyDeletehammer, it certainly ranks up there .
I like it for the negative reason that measured on the scale of making the world a better place, flying to the moon is the more futile activity.

oh yeah, and....nasa is actively blocking the commercial exploration of space.
ReplyDeleteare we that sensitive that we would be offended at the sight of a nike swoosh on the side of a rocket?
