interesting.

http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm

as a therapist i have to say that i see people who`s i.q. varies dramatically, but never have i seen a direct correlation between i.q. and mental health.

having said that, i consider myself bright enough not to play games that i can`t hope to win, and so wouldn`t have voted for either candidate.

then i read how negative the correlation between college grads and bush voters was and something clicked.

maybe it`s that college education makes you socialist.

Actually, a couple of psychologists have told me that depression can affect IQ score. Apparently, the research about this has changed since 1995 (it often does in psychology).

As for the graphic, I'm wondering how they determined those scores. I wouldn't make a connection to intelligence, education and ideology. I'd look more at personality type as an explanation.

given the choices available: bush or kerry there werent enough brain cells on the face of the planet to think our way out of that kobyashi maru. i guess a high iq might translate into big money in which one may finance an opt out, move to a private island and call it a day.

i thought i read (must be true then) that high high iq's made one more likely to kill one's self...too aware of all the horror, i suppose.

damn this word veri

she, sorry about your issues with the word veri thingy......

kobyahi maru? if that is japanese for clusterfuck then i concur.

high i.q. and suicide?

hmm. little think..........

not outside the realm of possiblity.

most of the bright bulbs i know tend to be a little on the high-strung side, so i could see the co-relation.
