Well, that's one way to take the horror out of war (at least from the shooter's perspective): turn it into a giant video game.
well, the whole point of military training is desensitisation.
nobody right out of working at home depot is going to be able to shoot at cars knowing there are people driving them.
even if they are "bad guys".
to get people to do that takes sophisticated methodologies.
