You're right. Those are statistics. The logic that follows them isn't very good. But a lot of the commenters are spot on.
i think after swimming through that lot one starts to see how stats can be conveniently used to "make" any point necessary.
what becomes necessary is for the reader to be able to know what is being presented and to criticise in a logical way instead of being polarised, which is what stats have the potential to do.
and bill, work is slow but there`s always time to play..........
