while i`m not interested in hitrates as a reason for blogging, it is interesting to see that the highest traffic of late tends to be when i post comments regarding politics, religion or racial issues.
as a scientist this appeals to my nature.
makes me wonder what could be next for my loyal readership.

I occasionally check a counter to see what keywords bring people to my site. The vast majority are people looking for pictures of Catherine Bell. I once posted a single picture of her as part of a meme on celebrities I'd like to boink in my pre-bunny days, and it's still the most popular thing I've ever done.
my most popular keywords are to do with human vs. monkey dna, and consciousness vs, conscience.
and i`ve never heard of catherine bell.
