Maybe it's short for Ricki.
i have a feeling that feminists have gotten sick of being associated with death and destruction...
They stopped naming the storms after just women sometime ago. I think along with the doing away f gender bias, it opened them up to more names since they can't use them more then once. Worked out good for all.
they being the media? or pressure from they being the feminists?
I believe it was neither but rather the weather service.
well, to say the weather service is seperate from the media is a stretch.
