Druggie. I used to think he was great. Not enough concentration on the working-class and poor in his thinking, either, that I saw

Sorry for calling RAW names. I sometimes like to "drop bombs" like that when posting comments to see what the reaction will be. It's true I don't think much of RAW anymore though. The important thing is, I want you to know that I want to be civil and all that, and I hope you don't take affront to anything I say.

hey, this an open forum. i have absolutely no idea what state people are in when they post things and the words alone convey so little of the total message.
i don`t mind you calling raw names and i love bombs. there aren`t enough people pushing explosives out there.
raw spent some time in abject poverty and writes about it in several of his books. the cosmic trigger for example speaks about his need to do heart chakra meditations to deal with the stress of having no money and a family to feed, so i think he understood the trials of the working poor.
to me he`s the prototypical philosopher of the modern age. we don`t have a hagel or a wittgenstien on youttube or myspace to deconstruct. thier work lies monolithic on library shelves or parsed by professors who`s minds are mere flicker of the brightness of thier subject matter.
raw is open and reveals himself as such. honest and as puzzled as the rest of us, but like all heros, tend to be all too real under close scrutiny.
thanks for your civility by the way...........
