Sometimes nipping a bud saves it from frosty (more painful) endings, the blooms still have a chance- extending the beauty of memory (what was)!

i am an eternal optimist.
that willow bud has sat there on the window for a month.
i found it amongst clippings while out walking with my boys and put it in water to see what would happen.
it has begun to grow sitting there on the window sill.
