Hey Dr….. Know what? …. “god the scientist and monkeys playing at science are two different animals.”

No sir, not at all, God is still a monkey at this point in his/our evolution at this time in time and space. I’m just the head monkey that understands it better than everyone else is all.

That's not right at all.

billy, i love you bud and that`s why i understand that you post all over the place.........

the distinction about science that i was making was that the science of some monkeys is a tool of tyranny.

rose?..... you might not have got the sarcasm.

I got your sarcasam and I was just stating an opinion that I did not think Obesity surgery for kids was right at all. I perhaps should of said more. :) In futuure could you please use my contact form to get in touch with me instead of commenting off topic on a '80s Music " topic LOL

dr.alistair said...

rose, you didn`t get my sarcasm. i agree that surgery doesn`t work in the case of most obesity cases.

these poor bastards are eating for a reason. surgery won`t help.

about the contact issue....there was no music in the 80`s. it skipped a decade for some reason.

interesting thing about blogging; it`s very easy to misunderstand people and so i hope you would take the time to understand my position is one of client-based therapy......and not knifing people in some derainged attempt to fix something......

and like hammer says, when you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. so scalpel-wielding types get slash-crazy at times.

Hello Doctor and thanks for your visit. I really think such a procedure is, at best, a last resort measure. This should not be a standard practice as I don't think it addresses the true underlying issues with these individuals. It certainly bypasses it and creates the illusion that the problem is solved but I'm not convinced this is the right way to go. It's a very dangerous operation with lots of complications. I heard stories of people dying from it.

I'm confused and maybe I did not get it or maybe your not getting me.

I'm saying surgery won't help. Your saying surgery won't help. So um it sounds like we are saying the same thing?

dr.alistair said...

richardo, i enjoyed my visit and thanks for reciprocating.

intelligences, artificial and otherwise are taking note as we type.

you are bang on regarding such surgeries. i am a non-medical practitioner and suffer the frustration of the arrogance of cutting and drugging as a way to make things go away.

most of my clients are survivors of the medical industry in one way or another.

rose, we did something beautiful........we managed to get to finally understand and agree.

thanks for coming over and commenting.

my stream-of-consciousness postings and lack of formal structure to my writing can be a bit confusing i must admit......

(it`s an i.q. test actually.)

I can only tell you about God.

God eats to live in order to live in a physical form on this planet.

God does not live to eat, God lives for sex.

God thinks that people that eat and get fat need to get other lives.

God also thinks that he is surrounded by idiots, or simply confused people like Rose.

Hey, Rose, hugs. I love you. Not that I expect you to understand that statement.

Mutilated before mutilation. The body always follows the mind.

dr.alistair said...

billy, i think rose understands now.

brandon, you are correct. it is the mind that has the problem, so to cut the body causes more problems than it would ever solve.

but surgeons don`t care. they have insurance and professional associations and cultural immunity, and besides, they`re on the golf course before the patient is out of post-op.
