No sir, not at all, God is still a monkey at this point in his/our evolution at this time in time and space. I’m just the head monkey that understands it better than everyone else is all.

rose, you didn`t get my sarcasm. i agree that surgery doesn`t work in the case of most obesity cases.
these poor bastards are eating for a reason. surgery won`t help.
about the contact issue....there was no music in the 80`s. it skipped a decade for some reason.
interesting thing about blogging; it`s very easy to misunderstand people and so i hope you would take the time to understand my position is one of client-based therapy......and not knifing people in some derainged attempt to fix something......
and like hammer says, when you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. so scalpel-wielding types get slash-crazy at times.
Hello Doctor and thanks for your visit. I really think such a procedure is, at best, a last resort measure. This should not be a standard practice as I don't think it addresses the true underlying issues with these individuals. It certainly bypasses it and creates the illusion that the problem is solved but I'm not convinced this is the right way to go. It's a very dangerous operation with lots of complications. I heard stories of people dying from it.

you are bang on regarding such surgeries. i am a non-medical practitioner and suffer the frustration of the arrogance of cutting and drugging as a way to make things go away.
most of my clients are survivors of the medical industry in one way or another.

brandon, you are correct. it is the mind that has the problem, so to cut the body causes more problems than it would ever solve.
but surgeons don`t care. they have insurance and professional associations and cultural immunity, and besides, they`re on the golf course before the patient is out of post-op.
