george carlin had a list....

.......of words you can`t say on tv.

here`s a thought. which words do you find objectionable?

which words wouldn`t you want coming out of your mother`s mouth?

your kids?

or do you care?

if you don`t know george`s list by heart, then use your imagination.

My kids have a problem with cursing at each other. They learned this behavior before we adopted them so I'm working hard to break the habit.

It's not the words, it's the thoughts behind them.

well, you made the distinction clear.

it`s the attitudes that are driving the behaviour.

my guys laugh about the words and get it out of thier system.

they love thier dad and they are deeply in love with eachother.

i am greatly moved by how, through what their parents have dragged them, that they haven`t lost thier loving nature.

if your children are old enough you can ask them how they are feeling about thier behaviour.

a large percentage of communication is non-verbal anyway. watching how your children act and thier gestures and body language are far richer clues as to thier states than words could ever be.

My best friend and I love to have cuss fests. We even tell each other that we are fucking idiots when we have been idiots. It's all good.

My least favourite word always USED to be 'cunt'. But then I worked around Youth for a couple of years and it kinda just went in one ear and out the other. I still don't like it though. And I don't like my daughter and her friends swearing in my house - if they slip up and say sorry - that's OK. AND I do get angry myself.....but never the 'c' word!!

(Oh, and never heard of George Carlin!)

you`ve never heard of george carlin?

you are in for a treat.

go to youtube and search his name.

i have to agree about the "c" word. i think it`s the hard k sound and the face people make when they say it more that what it refers to though.
