I feel sorry for Kevorkian who did so much to help ease suffering and is now rotting in a jail cell for his trouble.

suicide is a personal thing and any attempts to politicise or francise the process always ends up in tears.
kev. did try to ease the suffering, and for that we need to recognise his attempts......but you just knew how it was going to play out.
on a spiritual level i believe there are those that feed off suffering of any sort and any attempts to alleviate the suffering brings the whole world down on them.
look at the pope for instance. he`s not after people`s well-being. he`s a sadist of the highest order. he wants tormented souls for his feast.
There was a piece on the Penn and Teller show "bullshit" saying Mother Theresa did the exact same thing and really didn't help anyone do anything but suffer.
well, she wouldn`t have a job if they weren`t suffering now would she?
